He was beyond excited to “meet” Lightning McQueen. He was in awe when Lightning started to talk to him.

Met these two outside of his flying carpet ride.

This sweet cast member was so nice to all of us at Animal Kingdom.

Good times!

We caught this parade on the way out of the park one day. It was great because it was minutes away from the daily afternoon downpour so everyone was leaving and we had a great view of the parade as it went by.

I love the theming of the Wilderness Lodge. I’d love to stay here sometime but I’m so torn about no monorail!! I know there’s a ferry and that’s great, but the crowded Disney busses give me hives.

Disney will even get siblings to stand close enough for a photo!

We all love Minnie and Mickey. Unfortunately right after the photo was taken the litter terror in my arms tried to kick Minnie! How embarrassing!!

This is one of my favorite pictures of all my trips to Disney. It seems like such a throw back to simpler times. Like how Walt would have wanted it done. On the other hand it totally surprised me at the time that this guy was actually trying to match a paint chip sample – I mean don’t they write stuff like this down somewhere???

kyle & buzz

He was finally getting to meet his ultimate hero of all time. He didn’t understand that you could smile for a picture and not squeeze your eyes closed. He was so excited that he was shaking during the entire interaction.:)

One of the main reasons I have to always stay at the Poly. How can you not appreciate transportation that comes right to your front door and wisks you off to the magic. Even after four years of spanish in school, the only real phrase I know is por favor mantenganse alejado de las puertas. Back in the day, before there were automatic doors, the monorail attendants would walk down the platform and slam each and every door. You for sure wanted to stand clear of the doors back then. I miss the sound, but this way is probably a bit safer.:)

Taken in Epcot at the China Pavilion – so serene.

Taken on Spaceship Earth – I think??

Can’t remember where – Animal Kingdom maybe? Love the details everywhere at Disney.

Love to relax and soak in the elegance at the Grand Floridian. Grand piano or band playing in the background, ladies having afternoon tea and weary travellers coming back for an afternoon break.

Hmmmm – almost ready to board the happiest cruise that ever sailed ’round the world!

Parades are a great way to see the characters up close without waiting in line.

A not so flattering photo of myself looking over the railing for the gators that I *KNOW* are waiting for me. If you’re not perpetually scared like me, then renting a pontoon for a few hours is a great way to relax at Disney World. We stopped at Captain Cooks, got some grub and ate it on the boat. And yes, I probably held on to him just like this for the entire trip.:)

The kids always love the hands-on displays in Epcot’s Future World.
