I'm doing the chicken thing too! this is my first year, and I'm excited. Right now they are still in the brooder (a playpen lol) in my dining room. Chicken dust sucks!!

I'm also pretty happy because I just found the measurement tool on the tax assessors website so I could measure to see that my hen house will be more than the required minimum of 75 feet from the closest neighbors house!!! I'm glad to know my chicks will be legal!
